History of ARDANNYL
 In January of 2006, a new acting company launched in the Metro Detroit area for the youth was formed.  Distinguishing this acting company from all the rest, ARDANNYL was created by Adra Robins- Young to strengthen the acting skills of young aspiring actors while at the same time place a direct emphasis on appropriate life and socialization skills.   A ten year Veteran Teacher of Detroit Public Schools, a member of Motown Writers Group, and a proud affiliate of Detroit’s own Feed the Arts,  Ms. Young is a local actress, writer, and theatrical instructor. Graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1990 and Central State University in 1995, she took her first shot at acting on the campus in 1993.    
Earning her masters degree in 1999 from the University of Detroit Mercy, her book titled The Every Day Living of Children & Teens Monologues and the Teacher's Guide are the vital components utilized to ensure the over all success in young aspiring actors. www.trafford.com/05-0850  www.indiex.net

The Mission of ARDANNYL
The mission of ARDANNYL is to provide the up-most training for youngsters striving to become superior actors placing a direct emphasis on appropriate socialization skills required for promising futures.
Goals of ARDANNYL
Placing a direct emphasis on acting and dramatization, the goals of ARDANNYL are as follows:

  • To embrace, work hard and to perform reenactments.
  • To assist students with seeing acting/drama as a means of expression.
  • To utilize acting /drama with the intent to increase students knowledge of appropriate socialization skills.
  • To expand students perceptions and awareness of drama/acting as an art through means of verbal/nonverbal expression.

Commitment and Services of ARDANNYL
            ARDANNYL is committed to enhancing the dramatization skills of youngsters.  The company ensures the highest quality of acting and theatrical training for the youth.  Each student under the direction of Adra Young shall be appropriately prepared for plays, commercials, and T.V.  Implementing the acting guide titled, The Everyday Living of Children & Teens Monologues, and Teachers guide, every participant shall be taught to demonstrate the appropriate techniques and tactics necessary for becoming the best professional actors in the city of Detroit and throughout the nation.
